Today, English language is an indispensable medium of communication because of its wide global use in business, products & services, academia, international relations, research & development, travel, and popular culture.

The College is glad to announce the formation of the PSAU College of Engineering (CoE) English Language Club where it is our objective to embrace diversity and commit ourselves to providing quality tuition, language services, communication skills, and social programs at convenient times and in comfortable environments.

Innovation, quality and professional performance will drive our team, which will comprise of qualified and experienced teachers, who are native English language speakers residing in the Kingdom and committed to meeting the personal and professional needs specially tailored towards enhancing the capacity of CoE students (and other club members) to communicate in/with global audiences. This is crucial in facilitating the ability of our club members to effectively compete in the international arena.

Students will also be expected to formalise their registration by completing other registration formalities and signing the Club Pledge at :-- Room Number HS10 ( Electrical Engineering Department )

Membership Selection Criteria:

Kindly note that it is mandatory for interested students to signify interest in joining the club via email (

In the event we have too many interested students, selection will be on first come first serve basis.

In addition, we will use this the following as criteria for selecting members.

1. Ability to express oneself in writing (via emaill); and
2. Ability to express oneself during a brief interview (to be arranged on individual basis).

In the email, please clearly state your proficiency (i.e. whether beginner, moderate, or advanced) in both spoken and written English.

Kindly also note that our Kharj session will hold on Sunday evenings and, tentatively, we hope to start at the end of this month (27 March).
