A preparatory meeting of the second scientific forum was held On Wednesday, 5/6/1439 at the College main hall of the Faculty of Engineering, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, under the patronage of Professor Saleh AlKahtani, the supervisor of the College of Engineering and Dr. Raed Al-Yousuf, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Shataili, Vice Dean of Students Affairs, and a number of representatives of the Deanship of Student Affairs were also present in this scientific forum.
The ceremony began with verses from the Quran recited by the student, Al-Ruwaite. After that, Professor Saleh AlKahtani, the supervisor of the Faculty of Engineering, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, who were presented by the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs and Academic Affairs Dr. Raed Al-Yousif, and Dr. Abdul Qader Saad, the coordinator of the scientific conference and the supervisor of the student activities unit at the college. A documentary film is shown, which contained the preparatory work of the scientific forum as well as explained various steps of their preparation. Then the Secretary of the Scientific Forum, Dr. Omar, Dean, gave a speech in which he praised the outstanding contributions presented by the students in this forum and wished them more conciliation and payment. He also acknowledged the organizing committee for this event.
At the end, His Excellency the supervisor of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Saleh AlKahtani, and the Vice Dean of Students Affairs Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-Shataili, and Dr. Raed Al-Yousif, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, organized draw for the attendees and later commemorative photographs are taken, after which the attendees visited the exhibition accompanying the scientific forum.
