On Monday, 27 Safar 1440 AH, the College of Engineering held its semester meeting with the Dean, Dr. Raed bin Abdullah Al-Yousef, and the esteemed heads of the academic departments, aiming to strengthen communication with the college students and discuss their suggestions and opinions. The meeting began with an introductory presentation about the academic departments, their curricula, and the employment opportunities in each field, presented by Dr. Saud bin Saeed, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department; Dr. Yasser Al-Hammadi, Head of the Civil Engineering Department; and Dr. Ali Al-Arjani, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
Following that, the Dean of the College delivered a welcoming speech to all students and faculty members, emphasizing the importance of such meetings, which allow students to meet with decision-makers in the college and clarify certain points and answer inquiries. After the Dean’s speech, an open discussion began, where students raised questions and suggestions, including those related to academic schedules, departmental curricula, transferring between the college’s specializations, and final exam schedules.
It is worth noting that this meeting witnessed a large turnout and attendance from the college's students.
