Allocation mechanism

Submitted by a.alied on Mon, 11/15/2021 - 13:37

Regulations for allocating fourth-level students at the College of Engineering in Al-Kharj:

All fourth-level students in academic departments are allocated according to the number of seats available for each department, so that all students are distributed equally as possible among the various departments in the college in two phases:

  • Allocation mechanism in the first stage:

 1. The student must have studied all fourth-level courses, regardless of the final result of the courses, including failure.

2. The differentiation between students for the different specializations in the college is as follows:

   - Student's desire.

  - GPA.

  - The number of seats available for each department.

3. If more than one student competes for the last seat in one of the departments, and they have the same GPA, preference will be given to those who attended the introductory meeting for the academic departments, which is held each semester.

  • The allocation mechanism in the second stage:

In the event of a student's apology for studying, denial, or failure to register for one of the courses at the fourth level. The student loses priority in the assignment stipulated in the first stage. So that the student is allocated based on the GPA and the available seats after allocating all students who meet the conditions of the first stage.
