In this lab, students are taught MATLAB software and its application in modeling mechanical systems, studying hydraulic components, and simulating and designing hydraulic circuits. Students understand closed-loop and open-loop systems, as well as proportional and integral (PID) control systems. By the end of this course, students will be able to identify different types of control systems and perform simulations of mechanical systems and design hydraulic circuits.
