In this lab, students learn the fundamentals of electricity and how to measure current, voltage, and resistance. They study different types of sensors, how to use and calibrate them, and how to use software to analyze measurement results. Students also learn how to measure speed, vibration, and forces. This provides them with a foundation in methods of measuring physical variables used in mechanical engineering applications.
