In line with the role of students in achieving the vision, mission, and goals of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, the Student Activities Unit at the College of Engineering, under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College, Dr. Raed bin Abdullah Al-Yousef, organized the Student Council elections for the academic year 1441 AH. A total of 20 students from various academic departments of the college ran for membership in the Student Council.
The elections took place on Tuesday, 23 Safar 1441 AH, under the supervision of the Student Activities Unit. A dedicated nomination form was prepared by the committee, and a separate team was assigned to count the votes. Student Ali bin Nasser Abu Nasser from the Department of Industrial Engineering was elected as the President of the Student Council with 77 votes, while Ahmed Hassan Al-Ghamdi from the Department of Industrial Engineering secured 94 votes to become the Vice President of the Student Council. The remaining council members were selected from other departments of the college.
It is worth mentioning that these elections witnessed an exceptional level of participation from the college students in choosing their representatives for the Student Council.
