Two students, Omar Al-Dosari and Bandar Al-Qahiz, from the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, participated in the 12th Gulf Sustainable Municipal Work Conference (2024) held in Riyadh.
The students presented a research paper on environmental sustainability under the supervision of Dr. Sultan Al-Muayzer and Dr. Mohamed Farid Abbas. The project focused on innovative solutions to enhance the sustainability of cities and garnered significant attention from conference participants as an exemplary model for improving the infrastructure of Gulf cities.
Dr. Sultan Al-Muayzer also participated in a panel discussion on "Management and Operation for More Sustainable Cities," where he provided a brief overview of how to improve operational processes in cities to boost their sustainability. His insights were well-received by the session attendees.
This participation aligns with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University's vision to support its students and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
