By the directions of Mohammad AL Kahtani Dean of Engineering College, a team consisted from scientific Department Heads and a number of Faculty Members participated for three days in the activities of “Your Major” Program. The program is organized annually by Deanship of Preparatory Year. It aims familiarize the students with the colleges and the academic programs to help them in choosing the right major according to his abilities and desires. The college was represented by Dr. Jubaib Basha and Dr. Fraih Anzi. The participated in the accompanied pavilion and answered the students queries regarding the Engineering College.
Moreover, the college pavilion was supervised by Eng. Mohammad Saleh, Eng. Malek Dehami, and Eng. Omar Qassir. The pavilion provided the visitors with brochures, and awareness and souvenir gifts. It displayed a documentary about the college and its departments and labs, besides the academic aspects of the college.
The college participation was concluded by a lecture about the college delivered by Dr. Abdullah Salama representative of Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Khalid Jad representative of Mechanical Engineering and Dr. Mohammad Khadiem representative of Civil Enginering Department. The displayed the academic plans, admission mechanism and a brief about the educational labs for each major. At the end of the participation, the supervising committee of the program extended its thanks to the college representatives for their remarkable participation.
