As part of the College of Engineering's efforts to provide students with the opportunity to learn about engineering applications and operations in both the public and private sectors, and to connect this with the courses and lectures offered, and with a kind invitation from the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces, the college organized a visit to the Patriot platform of the First Group of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces for a number of college students. The students were accompanied by Mr. Raad Al-Madi, the College Administration Director, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Razqi, the Deputy Director of the College Administration.
At the beginning of the visit, a briefing about the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces was presented by Colonel Khalid Al-Ajmi, the Public Relations Officer of the First Air Defense Group. After that, the students toured the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces headquarters and learned about the efforts of the Air Defense Forces in protecting the homeland and defending its territories.
At the end of the visit, on behalf of the Dean of the College, a plaque of thanks and appreciation was presented to Colonel Khalid Al-Ajmi, the Public Relations Officer of the First Air Defense Group, and to the team for their cooperation in arranging and facilitating the field visits for the College of Engineering students. We look forward to organizing similar visits in the near future, God willing.
