The College of Engineering at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Female Section, organized an event on Monday, December 2, 2024, to showcase the third-level students' projects from the Electrical Engineering Department within the "Introduction to Engineering" course, supervised by Dr. Iman Ali Al-Sharif.
The projects involved the design and implementation of engineering models by the students, working in groups of no more than four per group. These projects aimed to apply the theoretical knowledge gained during lectures and enhance practical skills through hands-on lessons.
Project Objectives:
- Reinforcing theoretical engineering principles and applying them practically.
- Enhancing teamwork skills, including discipline, consultation, time management, and accountability.
- Developing the students' creative abilities and working under different conditions.
Project Evaluation Criteria:
- The significance and quality of the idea.
- Accuracy of the results in relation to design choices.
- Consistency of the methodology applied.
- Quality of the presentation and model.
The event featured an impressive display of innovative ideas, demonstrating the creativity of the students and their ability to transform theoretical concepts into practical models that reflect their growing engineering skills.
The college continues to encourage students to excel and innovate in the engineering fields, working as a team to achieve outstanding academic and practical accomplishments.
