In a step that reflects the continuous support from the College of Engineering to its students, the Dean of the College honored two female students, Ghadi Al-Dosari and Sarah Al-Obiya, whose project, "Pioneers of Prediction," ranked among the top ten projects nominated in the 2024 Hackathon organized by the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority. The event aimed to find sustainable solutions that improve the future of the electricity sector in the Kingdom. The competition saw the participation of a distinguished group of mentors, over 350 competitors, and 35 teams in three tracks, which ranged from enhancing the consumer experience, integrating renewable energy, to adopting emerging technologies.
