As part of providing students with the opportunity to learn about engineering applications and processes in the industrial sector, linking them with the courses and lectures offered to students, the Student Activities Unit at the College of Engineering at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University organized a visit to the Al-Tadamon Ready Mix Concrete and Block Factory in Al-Kharj for a group of Civil Engineering students. The students were accompanied by Dr. Imran Benjdo.
During the visit, the students learned about the stages of producing construction materials. The visit concluded at the Al-Tadamon Ready Mix Concrete and Block Factory, where the students were introduced to the components of ready-mix concrete and blocks, including both insulated and regular types. Engineers at the factory explained each part in detail.
At the end of the visit, commemorative photos were taken, and the visiting group expressed their gratitude to those responsible for coordinating the visit for their ongoing cooperation in arranging such visits for the students of the College of Engineering. They look forward to organizing similar visits in the near future.
