The Dean of the College of Engineering at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, accompanied by several faculty members, received Mr. Nawaf Al-Otaibi, the CEO of the Arab Gas Company, and his accompanying delegation in a meeting aimed at enhancing collaboration between the two parties in the fields of scientific research and industry.
The meeting commenced with a welcoming speech by the Dean, followed by a presentation highlighting the achievements of the College of Engineering at both local and international levels. The Dean emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between academia and industry to develop innovative solutions to industrial challenges, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
For his part, the CEO delivered a presentation on the company's activities and products, outlining the challenges it faces and its aspirations to expand production through collaboration with the university. He also introduced the members of the company’s delegation.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion session involving faculty members of the College of Engineering, the CEO, and his delegation. During the session, questions were addressed, and ideas were exchanged to enhance mutual cooperation.
