As part of enhancing applied education and linking theoretical aspects with practical experiences, a group of female students from the Electrical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, conducted a field visit to the Dar Al-Systems Electrical Panels (SEP) Factory.
The visit aimed to introduce the students to the processes involved in designing and manufacturing electrical panels, as well as the technologies used in production. It also provided an opportunity to review the quality and safety procedures followed at the factory. The students had the chance to interact with engineers working at the factory and learn about their expertise and practical experiences.
The students expressed their happiness with the experience, which provided them with valuable practical knowledge and enhanced their understanding of the engineering concepts they are studying. The college also praised the factory’s efforts in welcoming the students and providing an engaging educational environment.
This visit is part of a series of activities organized by the Student Activities Unit at the college to strengthen partnerships with the industrial sector and enable female students to face future professional challenges with confidence and competence.
