As part of the College of Engineering's initiatives to strengthen ties with the private sector, the college will host the Huawei Telecommunications and Information Technology Competition on Wednesday and Thursday, 19-20 Muharram 1441 AH, corresponding to 18-19 September 2019 CE. The competition is held across universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is open to all engineering and computer science students. The competition consists of a registration phase, followed by an initial exam that determines the participants' level. After that, a training phase will be held for those who qualify from the first stage, followed by an exam to determine the winners at the national level. The final stage will be held at the regional level in the Middle East, with the final competition taking place in Shenzhen, China.
The College of Engineering invited all students interested in participating to visit the informational booth, which will be set up in the college's lobby on Wednesday and Thursday, 19-20 Muharram 1441 AH (18-19 September 2019), or to register via the dedicated link for the competition.
