In response to the invitation from the National Center for Environmental Compliance to participate in the Environmental Commitment Forum 2024, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Dr. Dhaar Al-Qahtani, a faculty member at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University’s College of Engineering and a specialist in road engineering, traffic, and intelligent transportation systems, engaged in discussions with a group of experts and non-profit organizations in the field of environmental sustainability.
They discussed the future of transportation in environmental compliance, as well as the role of innovations and modern transportation technologies in reducing environmental risks.
The discussion was rich and informative, where the attendees learned about the environmental challenges in transportation and the role of innovations and modern technologies, such as electric vehicles, autonomous cars, and others, in mitigating carbon emissions.
