In a move to strengthen academic and research collaboration in the field of sustainability, the College of Engineering at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University signed 7 framework agreements with several academic and industrial entities, as part of the activities of the First Sustainability Exhibition for Building Materials.
These agreements aim to enhance scientific research and technical development in the areas of sustainable engineering, foster knowledge exchange between the university and the industrial sector, and support innovation in environmentally friendly building materials and technologies.
The agreements cover various fields, including joint research, engineering training, developing sustainable solutions for the construction sector, and supporting environmentally-focused student graduation projects.
The College of Engineering emphasized that these agreements align with its efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with relevant entities, and to prepare qualified engineers capable of contributing to sustainable development in the Kingdom, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
