The College of Engineering at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University organized an introductory scientific seminar on sustainability as part of the activities of the First Sustainability Exhibition for Building Materials. The seminar featured a distinguished group of academics and experts in the field of sustainable engineering.
The seminar covered several important topics, including sustainability concepts in engineering, the latest sustainable technologies and materials in the construction sector, and global trends towards reducing environmental impact. The speakers also discussed the challenges and opportunities in applying sustainability to engineering projects and the importance of adopting innovative solutions to achieve sustainable development.
The seminar witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, as students and sustainability enthusiasts raised numerous questions and comments regarding mechanisms to enhance sustainability in the engineering sector and the role of engineers in achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 in this area.
